BUTTERFLY - ID#A1869203 Neutered MaleThis sweet doggo was an owner surrender to the Westside Animal Welfare Department in October of 2023 when he was just 4 months old. His previous owners were moving and their new place did not allow pets.Butterfly is very smart and knows the commands sit, go potty, paw/shake and fetch! He has soulful eyes and smiles at you when you talk to him. You would swear he understands and is going to respond!Butterfly is very playful and affectionate. He even does the âlean inâ for pets.Butterfly enjoys car rides and is very well behaved on outings. If you are waiting, he will sit down and wait patiently next to you. If you are on the move, he is ready and rarinâ to go!Butterfly would make a fantastic hiking or running buddy. Although he also loves to sit and chill after a long day of playing.Butterfly is a bit shy at first, but warms up extremely quickly once he knows you are going to be friendly and gentle with him. He is enjoying meeting new people and having new experiences outside of the shelter.Butterflyâs foster home has children ages 5 and 7 and there have been no concerns. There are also cats in the home, but Butterfly ignores them and behaves like a gentleman.He gets along well with other dogs, but a meet and greet is always recommended to ensure compatibility.Have questions for his foster family?
