Description:
Meet Ryan! When Ryan was rescued from a puppy mill that was going out of business, his life changed forever. Like many dogs from these situations, he arrived scared and uncertain, not knowing what it meant to be safe or loved. But those hard days are behind him, and now this sweet 5-year-old gray and tan boy, weighing just over 13 pounds, is getting his chance at a happy new beginning.Ryan is still learning about the world, but each day he grows a little braver. With gentle care and patience, he’s discovering the joys of a soft bed, kind hands, and a home filled with love. His foster family has been wonderful in helping him understand that good things are coming his way from now on. He loves to be held now and get attention.Ryan is looking for a calm, quiet home with patient people who will give him time to adjust at his own pace. Because he’s still learning how to walk on a leash, a secure, fenced yard is required for potty breaks and outdoor play. A friendly, confident resident dog would be a wonderful bonus to help him feel more comfortable and show him the ropes.Ryan may start out shy, but with love and patience, he’ll reward his forever family with trust, affection, and a loyal heart that’s been waiting for the right person to love.If you believe you can offer Ryan the safe and loving home he deserves, please fill out an adoption application at www.bcaaofnj.org.
