Description:
Meet Danny — The Lively Little Gentleman BCAA has recently partnered with our southern rescue allies to help dozens of dogs rescued from a puppy mill that is going out of business. Many of these dogs came to us in heartbreaking condition—under-socialized, fearful, and unsure how to live in a loving home. One of these resilient pups is Danny, an 8-year-old black and white Papillon weighing about 11 pounds. Don’t let his age fool you—Danny has plenty of pep in his step and easily keeps up with his foster dog friends! He’s curious, bright, and starting to discover that life can be full of comfort, play, and love. Thanks to our incredible fosters and veterinary partners, Danny and his fellow rescues have received all the care they need to begin their new lives—spay/neuter surgery, microchipping, up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and treatment (if needed), preventatives, deworming, grooming, and more. Most importantly, they’re now experiencing kindness and safety, often for the very first time.Danny is still learning to trust and navigate life in a home, so he’ll do best in a calm, patient environment where he can adjust at his own pace. Because he’s not yet familiar with walking on a leash, a secure, fenced yard is required for his outdoor time and potty breaks. Having a friendly, confident resident dog would be a wonderful bonus, as it can help Danny gain confidence and learn how to be part of a family.Dogs like Danny may start out shy and uncertain, but with time, patience, and love, they blossom into loyal and joyful companions. If you believe you can offer Danny the safe and loving home he deserves, please fill out an adoption application at www.bcaaofnj.org.
