Meet Janice Estimated to be about 3.5 months old and currently weighing 23.3 lbs, Janice is a sweet, loving pup who is blossoming more every day in foster care. She may be a little shy and unsure when meeting new people at first, but give her a minute of kindness and affection, and she quickly warms up into a gentle, affectionate companion. Janice has a perfect medium energy level—she enjoys playing (especially with toys that bounce!) and then happily settles in for a cozy nap. She absolutely loves having a playmate and would thrive in a home with another young, playful dog or with a family committed to giving her plenty of playtime and attention. She gets along well with other dogs and has been good with cats—sometimes curious, sometimes indifferent, but overall respectful. She’s also been around teens and does just fine. Janice is doing great with crate training and hasn’t had any accidents in her crate. She’s still working on house training and learning basic commands like “sit,” so she’ll need a patient family willing to continue helping her learn and build confidence. She hasn’t had much leash experience yet and can be a bit nervous in the car, but she rides well in a crate and is making progress as she gains more exposure. At heart, Janice is a total sweetheart who just needs a little time and love to feel safe and secure. Once she does, she becomes a loyal, cuddly companion who loves pets, playtime, and being close to her people.
