Description:
Hi! My name is Denny and I am looking for a forever home. I found myself in a super scary place called a shelter where myself and some of my littermates were just a few of several black pups, all of whose hold times were up and we were being placed on something bad called "the list" 'cause no one came to adopt us. Unfortunately, if you know shelters, we black pups don't do well as we just kind of blend into the back of our kennels 'cause we're scared of all the loud noises and smells. But I along with a few of my siblings got lucky when a small local rescue came and sprung us out just in the nick of time. A volunteer with that rescue then contacted BCAA to see if they might be able to help us and they said yes! The shelter workers were told our parents were lab/spaniel mix; I appear to be a spaniel mix with longer curly hair but one of my brothers got more of the lab mix with short hair. I am a little under a year old so at around 27lbs, I probably shouldn't get too much bigger, say around 30lbs. I am an energetic boy who is always up for an adventure or treats. I am having lots of fun playing with some of the other foster dogs here. I have started showing a little too much interest in those things called cats so a home without them would probably be best. While I would prefer to be out with you, I have done well in my crate without any accidents or tearing up of my bedding; however, I might let you know not to forget about me if I see or hear you. I've done pretty good on leash as it means I get to be out with you and going on an adventure. If you would like to meet me, please fill out an application which can be found at www.bcaaofnj.org.Interested in adopting this pet?Click here for BCAA's on-line Application! PLEASE NOTE: Our adoption fee helps to cover our expenses and includes all shots, *age appropriate*, distemper and rabies, fecal check, spay/neuter, heartworm test, grooming, and in many cases dental and also the fee we pay when we rescue from a shelter.
