Description:

Hi! My name is Corine and I am looking for a forever home. I along with two of my friends were taken to a really scary place called an animal shelter by our previous owner who said they couldn't take care of us any longer. As owner surrenders going into an over-crowded shelter, we were placed on something bad called "the list". Fortunately for us, a volunteer that came to the shelter saw us, contacted BCAA to see if they could help us, and when they said yes, got us out of there before anything bad could happen to us. We were all a little scared when we first got to our foster, but everyone was so nice to us we started coming out of our shells real quick. My friends have have been adopted and they say it's now my turn. I appear to be a long-legged chihuahua mix with a beautiful white coat and dalmation-like spots on my ears; my foster mom says I'm super cute and have a personality to match as I love to be with you and get lots of loving and treats. I weigh around 15lbs and at about 18 months old, I shouldn't get any bigger. I have gotten along with the other small dogs I have met and haven't bothered those things called cats. I have done really well in my crate without any accidents, barking or tearing up of my bedding. I never had a leash on before so it scares me and I will need work learning about it, so in the meanwhile I will need a fenced yard in order to take care of my business. If you would like to meet me, please fill out an application which can be found at www.bcaaofnj.org.Interested in adopting this pet?Click here for BCAA's on-line Application! PLEASE NOTE: Our adoption fee helps to cover our expenses and includes all shots, *age appropriate*, distemper and rabies, fecal check, spay/neuter, heartworm test, grooming, and in many cases dental and also the fee we pay when we rescue from a shelter.
