Description:
Hi! My name is Bobby and I am looking for a forever home. Me and my siblings were picked up by Animal Control and taken to a scary place called a shelter where, after our hold time was up and no one came for us, we were placed on something bad called "the list". Fortunately for us, a small local rescue took us in. We were in pretty rough shape as we were really skinny and lost almost all of our hair; but after a few months of medicated baths and some medicine, we are now being called handsome dudes as our hair has all grown back and we are at good healthy weights. A volunteer with that rescue then reached out to BCAA to see if they could help us and they said yes! We are black lab mixes (no one knows for sure what with) and are between 7-8months old. I am right at 36 lbs and it is guessed that I will be between 40-50lbs once I'm full grown. I love getting attention from anyone willing to give me some (I love giving hugs!) and also running around and playing. I have gotten along with all of the other dogs I have met and haven't shown any aggression towards the cats I have encountered. I've done really well in my crate without any accidents or tearing up of any bedding, but I would really prefer to be out and about with you and will let you know not to forget about me if I see or hear you. I love my food and take treats gently which will help with any future training. I have done ok on leash (I do tend to want to circle you rather than walking in a straight line in my excitement on being out) and know with some practice I will get even better. If you would like to meet me, please fill out an application which can be found at www.bcaaofnj.org.Interested in adopting this pet?Click here for BCAA's on-line Application! PLEASE NOTE: Our adoption fee helps to cover our expenses and includes all shots, *age appropriate*, distemper and rabies, fecal check, spay/neuter, heartworm test, grooming, and in many cases dental and also the fee we pay when we rescue from a shelter.
