Male Dog, Boston Terrier
Boston Terrier
Description:
Hi! My name is Bama and I am looking for a forever home. I am an owner surrender to a small rescue after spending the last 5 years of my life living in a small crate. A volunteer with that rescue saw me and was able to talk my owner into giving me up; she then contacted BCAA to see if they could help me in my search for a home where I can run, play and be a regular dog and they said yes! I am about 9-10years old although you would never guess it by how much I love to run around (my foster mom says I act like a typical Boston terrier, whatever that means). I weigh a little under 24lbs and am at a good weight. I have gotten along with all of the other dogs I have met, some smaller and some bigger than me, and I haven't bothered those things called cats. I have done really well in my crate without any accidents or tearing up of bedding; however, I would prefer to be out with you and will sometimes let you know not to forget about me if I see or hear you. I am good on leash although I may tug a little in my excitement on being out and going on an adventure. Oh yeah, I love playing with water coming out of a hose! If you would like to meet me, please fill out an application which can be found at www.bcaaofnj.org. Interested in adopting this pet?Click here for BCAA's on-line Application! PLEASE NOTE: Our adoption fee helps to cover our expenses and includes all shots, *age appropriate*, distemper and rabies, fecal check, spay/neuter, heartworm test, grooming, and in many cases dental and also the fee we pay when we rescue from a shelter.
