Description:
Meet Antonio! Antonio is a 7-year-old Border Collie mix with a heart of gold and a calm, gentle spirit. Medium-sized, neutered, and housebroken, he has been cherished by his family since he was a puppy. Life threw Antonio a curveball in 2023 when a ruptured disc required spine surgery, and more recently, he’s developed some arthritis in his back legs. Because of this, Antonio can only manage short walks and a few stairs at a time—but he still moves around happily and enjoys being by your side. Antonio is a 35 lb. very sweet, low-energy companion who thrives in a peaceful home. He has always been wonderful with children but can get a little nervous around babies. He currently lives with another dog and does well, though he prefers mealtimes to be separate. Antonio would be the perfect match for a senior or anyone looking for a calm, loving friend in an apartment or home without stairs. He doesn’t need long hikes or high activity—just love, comfort, and a family to call his own. If you’re looking for a loyal, easygoing dog who will shower you with quiet devotion, Antonio is ready to meet you.
