Female Dog, Chihuahua
Chihuahua / Terrier / Mixed (Short Coat)
Description:
Abby C. is a sensitive, thoughtful girl (not yet 2 years old) who does best in a calm, predictable environment. She prefers women to men and would thrive in an all-female home or with a very patient, understanding male. Abby is not a good fit for a home with children and needs time and space to adjust to new people and surroundings. But don’t mistake her timidity for lack of energy. She gets excited when she’s with her favorite person and becomes a total goofball, complete with zoomies and tail-chasing. In boarding, Abby did well in a group of dogs, though she generally prefers to keep to herself rather than be the center of attention. She would be happy as an only dog or with a canine companion who can match her energy. Abby C. is best suited for someone willing to go slow, earn her trust, and appreciate a dog who forms deep bonds once she feels secure.
