Pancho and his buddy were recently left tied to the shelter fence. He has not had the typical pet experience as we discovered his owner was homeless so they were surviving primarily in the woods. Pancho is adjusting to shelter life and needs to learn all of his basic manners. He is being exposed to many things he has never known and we are hoping his next step is into a forever home that is patient and willing to show him the world! All Perth Amboy Animal Shelter residents will be fully vaccinated, spayed/neutered and microchipped prior to adoption. You must be 23 or older to adopt from the shelter, complete an Adoption Application and pay the associated adoption fee. The application must be approved by the shelter staff and all adoptions are finalized based on the best interests of our animals.
