Male Dog, Bernese Mountain Dog

Bernese Mountain Dog / Poodle (Standard)

Description:

Meet Oreo! Oreo is a bernedoodle looking for his loving forever home. Oreo’s original owners decided they didn’t want him anyone and gave him away to another family. Within a few hours, he was out on the street and was hit by a car! Neither the original nor the new owners wanted him after he got injured, so the old owners picked him up and brought him to different veterinary hospitals trying to euthanize him. Thankfully, one of the vets called Husky House, so he was able to survive. Oreo arrived to Husky House in terrible condition, terrified, matted, and caked in feces. He also suffered a broken pelvis, blunt force trauma to the heart, and a pneumothorax (holes in the lung) from the car accident. Thankfully, Oreo is recovering well from his injuries and his heart and lungs have fully healed ! However, he is still on crate rest while his pelvis finishes healing. Despite his history, Oreo is a gentle, friendly dog who loves spending time with volunteers. He hasn’t been tested with other dogs yet due to his injury, but he appears dog friendly. Interested in adopting Oreo? Please visit www.huskyhouse.org today to fill out an application.
