Stanley came to us from a local a local shelter where he was brought in as a stray with obvious marks and scars of being abused, neglected and possibly used for a bait dog. Despite his rough start to life, Stanley is an extremely sweet boy who is unbothered by everything around him. He is docile, calm and has stolen our hearts here at TLCAR. Stanley is currently in a foster home with a small dog and a young child. He’s done wonderful with his interactions with other dogs and is doing very well learning what life should really be like for a pup! His foster mom reports that after working with him, he has learned how to walk properly on a leash quite quickly! He has zero food aggression and even met some kitties at the shelter with a tail wag and calm reaction. Stanley’s scars and missing bits here and there tell us that he has endured things no young pup should ever have to experience, but despite all of this, he has remained resilient, happy and nothing short of a wonderful house guest!
