Elmer Fudd is ready to be your best friend! He is a sweet, active boy that just wants to earn your affection, praise, and treats. When walking on the leash, Elmer stays right by your side, watching your every move. When taking treats, Elmer has the softest mouth-- you can barely even feel it brush your hand. Sometimes Elmer does have unexpected bursts of energy, which can include zoomies, very high jumps, and him being a bit mouthy-- this is not him being malicious, this is simply his reaction to not getting enough exercise and mental stimulation or having any previous training. Due to this, Elmer Fudd's ideal home would be an active adult-only home with a fenced in back yard. At the shelter, Elmer is also able to climb the chain-link fences we use for our yards, so fencing that he is unable to get a good grip on (privacy fencing) would be necessary as well.
