This dog is part of our shelter outreach program where we take dogs from overcrowded shelters in hopes of finding them a forever home here! We generally do not have much background info on them and cannot guarantee they are housebroken. They are all up to date on vaccines, spayed/neutered and microchipped. Teddy, this beautiful soul never imagined he’d be starting over at 5 years old. This cattle dog mix has spent his entire life side by side with his sister Duchess in a loving home. When their owner passed away last year, everything changed. With no one in the family able to take them and the home being sold, Duchess and Teddy suddenly found themselves without the only life they’ve ever known. Through it all, they’ve stayed true to who they are - friendly, playful, affectionate, and always looking for someone to love. They crave attention, and lean in for pets. They’re used to having space to run and play, so a fenced yard would be ideal for these higher-energy pups. They would do best in a home that can match their energy and give them the love they’ve been missing. They have been exposed to kids ages 13+. Since arriving here, they do not seem to be bonded or dependent on each other. If you have room in your heart and home for a loyal companion, Teddy is waiting. *Per JSAC policy, puppies and kittens under 6 months will not be adopted to families with children under the age of 6 years.
