Description:
Meet Luna: A Resilient and Devoted Companion Luna's journey is one of perseverance, hope, and transformation. After spending 595 days in a shelter, she never lost her spiritshe simply waited for the right chance to shine. Since being rescued by WARF, Luna has blossomed into a playful, affectionate, and deeply loyal companion. At just 3 years old, she's eager to embrace life with boundless enthusiasm and love. A Playful Heart with a Loyal Soul Luna thrives in her foster home, where she has learned the joys of companionship. She adores her foster siblings, quickly forming bonds and engaging in playful antics. While she enjoys the company of other dogs, her heart truly belongs to her humanshe craves affection, thrives on interaction, and is happiest when by your side. Whether it's fetch, tug-of-war, or a good belly rub, Luna's zest for life is infectious. Learning, Growing, and Ready for Love Luna is still refining her social skills with other dogs. She can be intense and intrusive when meeting new canine friends, especially high-energy ones, but she does well with calmer, more submissive dogs when introduced gradually. On walks, she may react to unfamiliar dogs by pulling, lunging, or barking, but with consistent training and positive reinforcement, she continues to improve. At home, Luna is housebroken and crate-trained, though she prefers not to be crated. She's trustworthy when left alone, especially with access to a dog door. She knows basic commands, walks well on a leash, and is working on curbing her excitement-driven jumpingthough if you've been gone for a while, expect an enthusiastic welcome! Smart, Strong-Willed, and Full of Love Luna is highly intelligent and treat-motivated, but she also has a stubborn streaka reminder that she's a dog with personality! She enjoys playing with other dogs but is obsessed with people, always wanting to be close. Her affectionate nature can be a little intrusive, but it's simply her way of showing love. Luna has spent the last year in foster care, learning how to be a dog, and she's ready to find her forever home. With patience, love, and understanding, she will thrive, bringing endless joy and companionship to the lucky person who welcomes her into their life.
