Meet Asha! She’s a 63 lb, 1.5 year old Black Labrador Retriever. Asha came to us from a terrible hoarding and neglect case. She is very frightened and will take an extra special adopter. She’s good with all dogs. We will post more details as she decompresses. As of right now she is not leash trained, not housebroken, and is scared of humans. It’s heartbreaking. Asha has been spayed, fully vetted and vaccinated, heartworm tested negative, treated for Giardia and worms, and microchipped. More info will be coming. Once an application is pre-approved (contingent upon a home check) we will contact applicants that are a good match and set up a time for a meet. At that time we are happy to answer all of your questions. No inquiries prior to that please. All of our animals are spayed/neutered, examined by a vet, up-to-date on vaccinations, on heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchipped. We adopt our animals as strictly inside companion pets. We will do a veterinarian reference check and a home safety check. We are located in Omaha, NE and we do not ship our animals. We are all volunteers so please be patient with us. Our requested adoption fees help go towards medical expenses, food, transportation, toys, and other supplies for our animals. We are a state licensed, 501c3 nonprofit rescue and the adoption donation may be tax deductible for you. Thank you for choosing adoption!!
