Baby girl Pearl is one of dozens of dogs we rescued from shelters in an overcrowded shelter in Louisiana after Hurricane Ida blew through. The shelters needed to move existing dogs out so they could accept newly displaced dogs who were waiting for their people to recover and bring them home. Pearl is the sister of Brees and Dixie. These girls are all just darling. Pearl is a little shyer and more laid back than her ultra-silly sisters, but she is still super playful, friendly and happy. She is absolutely gorgeous with her shiny white coat, speckled nose and crystal blue eyes. Pearl weighs 17 pounds right now, but will think she will weigh about 50-60 pounds once fully grown.
