adoption donation : $699 weight 33 lbs Age 2 1/2 years old Sweet Chevy is friendly, easy going beagle who was rescued in a rural part of Mississippi from an owner who was not caring for him properly. Despite his sad beginning Chevy has settled in well at the rescue, he is mellow, loves treats and gets along well with other dogs. Chevy has been neutered and is up-to-date on his vaccines. He is currently in Mississippi, but we are hoping to send him to the northeast on one of the transports that leaves every Friday from Tupelo. Chevy is housebroken at Wags but like any rescue pup may need some training as he adjusts to a new home. Wags is a struggling 501(c) 3 where one woman in rural Mississippi takes care of about 200 homeless and stray dogs. Adoption donations are the only source of funding for the rescue. Adoption fee includes the transport from Mississippi, vaccines, microchip and spay and neuter. Most of our dogs are in Mississippi and come up by Transport, dogs are listed along the Transport route or in an area where we may have volunteers who can help transport the dogs.
