Female Dog, Pit Bull Terrier

Pit Bull Terrier (Short Coat)

Description:

Meet Gertie, an 8 year old 60 lb Pitbull who is a people pleasing lap dog that can’t get enough hugs, kisses, or attention and loves to snuggle. She came from a multi dog home, but seems to love and thrives on getting all the love from her foster family. Gertie enjoys communicating her needs or if she will miss you when you leave. Recommend a calmer family with older children or someone that will give Gertie all the love she’s missed out on before. Age: 8.5 years old Breed: Pitbull Weight: 55 lbs Kid-friendly: Yes, recommend older children Dogs: Came from multi dog family; prefers being only dog—loves attention Cats: Doesn’t like seeing cats outdoors Crate trained: Yes, but is not crated. She has free range of the back area of the house. Potty trained: Yes Health concerns: None Current medications & estimated costs: None Adoption fee: $375 As a rescue, we provide the care, procedures and testing that is available to us. Adopters will be responsible for continued preventatives, follow-up appointments, and medications (if applicable). Adoption fees help pay for the dog's veterinary exam, vaccinations (rabies and distemper) HW test and spay/neuter if needed and additional health needs specific to each animal. Grey Face Rescue does not adopt outside of Minnesota for now. We apologize for the inconvenience. We do not adopt animals to families whose current pets are not up-to-date on vaccinations or not altered. Exceptions may be made for medical reasons as stated by a veterinarian and we will require proof of that recommendation. Thank you for understanding our mission to reduce overpopulation. Once you submit your application, our adoption manager will be in touch, so please check your spam folder if you do not see something from us within 7-10 days. Thank you again for your interest in a Grey Face senior. We
