Male Dog, American Staffordshire Terrier

American Staffordshire Terrier / Labrador Retriever / Mixed (Short Coat)

Description:

Meet Wally! This cuddlebug is the goodest of boys, and his greatest wish is to give all of his love to his people. He's a professional cuddler who dreams of sleeping in your bed and being your shadow everywhere you go—from working at home to running errands. He would make an excellent shop dog or a ride or die buddy for your work truck. His happy tap dance, courtesy of his adorable webbed toes, is guaranteed to make you smile. He has a soft and shiny black coat with small white touches here and there. Wally has come a long way from a difficult past. He was rescued from a dog-fighting ring and spent most of his young life in an animal control facility. This has led to him developing several mental health issues. He is currently on medication and is making great progress with training and lots of love. Wally is eager to learn and ready to find a safe and loving home where he can finally be at peace. Can you offer Wally a safe place to dedicate his life to you? If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. To learn more about Ruff Start’s adoption process and the care our foster animals receive, please visit our How to Adopt page. If you are unable to adopt but want to help this animal and others in our care, you can donate to support the medical and veterinary needs of all Ruff Start Rescue animals.
