Female Dog, Labrador Retriever

Labrador Retriever / Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed (Short Coat)

Description:

Meet Noelle, affectionately known as Mama or Ellie. At around 2 years old, she exhibits signs of prior training, evident in her housebroken manners and ability to sit on command. Noelle's enthusiasm for food makes her a quick learner, although she can be possessive about treats, even claiming closed bags of dog food as her own. Toys are Noelle's passion, with balls being her absolute favorite. She adeptly catches them and often returns them for another round of play. If she wants you to join in, she'll even toss the toy your way as a playful hint. At night, Noelle sleeps peacefully on the bed, providing warmth and companionship, although be prepared for her to claim a significant portion of your lap with her 50-pound frame. Noelle struggles with skin allergies, requiring monthly cytopoint injections, and may need a dietary adjustment to manage her condition effectively. While she may vocalize her concerns at the sight of strangers or unfamiliar noises, her barking remains within reasonable bounds. Noelle's leash manners could use a bit of improvement, and she tends to jump up in excitement when greeting you at the door. Here’s a sweet video of Noelle . Despite her quirks, Noelle is a sweetheart, having demonstrated excellent maternal instincts with her puppies. Let's work together to find her the loving forever home she deserves! You might recognize Noelle; she's a bit of a TV star! Noelle was featured on WCCO with Ruff Start Rescue! Noelle is from one of our northern reservation partners.
