Description:

*This animal is a part of our “Seniors for Seniors” program where we offer senior adopters an opportunity to adopt an eligible pet at a discounted fee.* Hey people! I am Noah! And, like my namesake from the movie "The Notebook", I am swoon-worthy. I am an old-fashioned gentleman who likes to take a walk alongside my love interest. I currently live with 5 dogs, and I get along great with all of them! I think it may be in part due to my charm. I am an unassuming chap who takes long, luxurious naps. My foster mom says I snore, but at least she knows where I am at all times! I have a bum leg, so I don't run that much. I can go downstairs, but I struggle a bit coming back up, so a one-level place would be great for an older man like myself! I do like to bark, so a home without shared walls would be best for me! I love to wag my tail and do a little happy dance whenever there is food involved. I do carry a little bit of extra weight, but don't worry, I'm working on it! My foster mom thinks I am a great companion for anyone who is looking for a low-maintenance, sweet, cuddly guy! One big thing you should know is that Noah is heartworm positive - but please don’t let that scare you away from adopting them! He has already finished his treatment and is currently just on activity restrictions. Heartworm is not a contagious disease. Click here to learn more about heartworm disease, which is transmitted by mosquitoes. Noah Calhoun is from local impound.
