Female Dog, American Pit Bull Terrier

American Pit Bull Terrier / Labrador Retriever / Mixed (Short Coat)

Description:

Hi, I’m Diem—a playful, happy-go-lucky puppy with a zest for life that’s as big as my heart. I may have wobbly back legs, but don’t let that fool you! My unique walk doesn’t slow me down one bit. I’m always on the move, living life with energy and joy. Toys are my absolute favorite—whether it’s squeaky ones, chew toys, or something to chase, I’m all in. And when playtime is over, you’ll find me snuggled up for a cozy nap. I’m a pro at bedtime, settling down quietly in my kennel so you can get a good night’s sleep. I’m also working on potty training and learning to pace myself at mealtime (I get so excited about food!). Diem’s journey is a little different from other pups. She was born with a congenital spinal deformity that makes her movements unique. While her back legs sometimes have a mind of their own, she’s a determined little explorer who gets around just fine. She will benefit from continued rehabilitation to build strength and mobility, and she’s already making great progress with weekly physical therapy, which will need to be continued after adoption to support her long-term health and mobility. Diem does have urinary and fecal incontinence, which might require lifelong diaper use. Despite this, she’s an incredibly loving companion who doesn’t let her condition hold her back. If you’re looking for a special pup with a huge personality, Diem could be the perfect match. She’ll fill your days with laughter, cuddles, and so much love. Are you ready to continue Diem’s journey and give her the care and love she deserves? Diem was a stray. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract.
