He is unsure at first and can have a big bark but after he gains some trust, he is your best friend. He is looking for his very own person to spend his time. He loves to sleep next to you at night and just hang out with you. He is very intelligent and picks up skills quickly. He is not a fan of gates and kennels and has learned to jump over gates with ease. He also can escape a 4 ft chain link fence by climbing right over it. One good thing, Ozzie comes back when called. He will need a leash outside for his safety. Ozzie gets along with the dogs in his foster home but wants to be in charge of them. I'm unsure how he does with children and big dogs since we don't have any in our foster home. Ozzie loves to go on walks and he is potty trained. He does need some work on leash skills and manners on walks. He likes to bark at people and dogs he meets. Ozzie does respond to correction and praise. He really wants to please his people. He will do great with someone that is willing to work with him to refine his behavior. He is worth every effort!Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption. The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Request Form prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care.
