Description:

If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please complete an Adoption Request Form. This is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. To learn more about our adoption process, please visit our Adoption Process page on our website at www.rescuecrew.org.Happy, Energetic, Love at Full SpeedBert is a very social, out-going Rat Terrier. He loves with his entire body, including feet and teeth. We're trying to "tone down" his love but he's quite playful. His play bites do not leave marks, he is very gentle but his jumping does leave bruises. He is a flight risk because he loves to run. He just wants to "Go!" with no idea where he is going. If you are looking for an adventure buddy, this is the guy for you. Walks are his absolute favorite. I think he'd love someone to run with him even more.He is working on house training and making progress. Bert is kennel trained and keeps his kennel clean. He is very food motivated and learns quickly.Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption. The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Request Form prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care. For the most complete information regarding this animal, and all of our adoptable pets, please ensure you are visiting our website directly at www.RescueCrew.org. You can also access the necessary online forms here as well.
