Meet Luger, our tall, lean, and lovable 2-year-old Doberman who is ready for his next chapter! This handsome boy has made tremendous progress in his foster home and is showing just how wonderful he can be with the right environment. Luger is neutered, healthy, affectionate, and full of energy. He is smart, eager to please, and house-trained, doing great with free roam and no longer experiencing anxiety or being destructive when left alone. Luger would do best in an adult-only home or one with older teens who are experienced with big dogs. He enjoys the company of a confident female or a neutral male dog, but is not a match for homes with cats or small children. A fenced yard is a must for this athletic boy, as he loves to stretch his long legs and play. While Luger thrives without a crate, he is still working on leash reactivity and will need a patient, consistent owner committed to helping him continue his progress. With structure, calm leadership, and training, he blossoms into a goofy, loyal, and loving companion. Besides his relationship with the cat in his foster home, he has settled beautifully and is ready to keep thriving in a home that matches his needs.
