Description:
Naz Reid (Roko per his official records) lives up to his name. He is a clutch family member and key part of the team! Naz loves everyone he meets. Have a busy house with people coming and going? That works perfectly for him! Naz is also athletic, like his namesake! He lives with a runner and is an A+ running buddy, loves long walks and hikes, and playing with toys. Naz is a confident and happy boy who currently lives in South Minneapolis by the lakes and trails and has no problem navigating around dogs, kids, strollers, etc. He is also well acclimated to patios as he often gets to be a patio dog in his foster home, visiting all the breweries and restaurants. If there is one thing to know, Naz does have a high prey drive and would love to keep the neighborhood critter free so hang tight to the leash if you see a squirrel, bunny, or rodent! Given this prey drive, his fosters let him try some barn hunt and he showed instant promise, instantly using his nose to hunt out the rats. He also loved lure coursing! Overall, Naz is a ready to go adventure buddy! Naz will easily take to camping, hiking, or whatever else adventure you want to take him on. He is a very smart dog who is naturally handler focused and is very eager to learn and please. He also does well for vet care and nail trims. Naz is crate trained and house trained. He can be vocal and likes to alert his people to distractions around the perimeter of his house. He does have energy, but has a nice off switch and is happy to just chill if its a rainy day and Netflix and Chill is on the agenda. He is very well behaved and easy to have around inside. Naz loves to snuggle. He will also shove his head under your hand for affection. Naz lives with kids (5 and 8), dogs, and cats. He does well with all. He is not a dog park candidate as he has a touch of bossy tendencies, but has done well with every dog in his home and visiting dogs. As for his official breed mix - well, you will need to do a DNA test for that! Naz was treated for heartworm and will need to be kept up to date on heartworm preventatives year round. If you are looking for your next adventure buddy, Naz is your guy! Apply today. He is simply amazing!Interested in adopting this lovable animal?
