Description:
Hi, my name is boyfriend, but my foster family calls me Joey because I like to stand and bounce like a kangaroo and look like one too! I was found with my girlfriend in an abandoned car in St. Paul and never claimed. First off I’m 100% chihuahua. I know what I want and when I want it. I’ve been doing well in my foster home although potty training is still a work in progress. I do tolerate belly bands to catch any accidents. I’m very well behaved in the house when alone and have been able to be out and about in the house. I live with dogs and cats in my foster home. The dogs and I get along great, but the cats I’m not so sure. At times I think they aren’t meant to be my toy rather than housemate. Only dog savvy cats for me in my forever home. I am super happy to sit and cuddle in your lap. In fact, it’s where I prefer to be and I love sleeping under the covers in bed! I love people and I just want to meet everyone I see and I can’t wait to meet you! NOTE: Boyfriend tested positive for Lyme's disease at his routine exam. He was asymptomatic and was treated with a round of antibiotics. Most dogs live with tick borne illnesses with no issues but his adopters will need to be aware of any flare up type symptoms. Interested in adopting this lovable animal? Please go to our website www.wagsmn.org and fill out an Adoption Application. Once the application is processed, a Wags representative will contact you, answer any questions you may have, and set up a time/location for a meet and greet! A home visit is required prior to adoption. Thank you for choosing to adopt! Breed and temperament determination: Wags & Whiskers Animal Rescue attempts to determine breed and temperament using a combination of looks, information provided to us at intake, and our experience with the animal while in our Rescue. We do not guarantee this determination.
