Description:
Meet Edith & Archie: Two Sweet MinPin-Chihuahua Mixes Looking for a Forever Home Edith and Archie, both adorable MinPin-Chihuahua mixes, were scheduled to be euthanized on the very day United Doberman Rescue (UDR) stepped in to save them. Thanks to a generous volunteer offering to foster, these sweet pups are now safe and ready to find their forever homes! Estimated to be around 3 years old, Edith and Archie each weigh about 10-12 pounds. While we’re not certain if they are littermates, they were dumped together at the shelter and have been inseparable ever since. These little dogs have shown to be loving and sweet, and they’re looking for a family to give them a second chance at life. MinPins and Chihuahuas are in the Toy Dog category, which is the complete opposite of the working breed world of Doberman Pinschers. If you’re looking for a smaller dog to keep you company—one that won’t require the same energy release as a larger breed like a Doberman—then Edith or Archie might just be the perfect fit! Both are ready to offer companionship and love without being too demanding. We’re so grateful we were able to save these two precious lives, and now we’re hoping you can help give one or both of them the forever home they truly deserve. Please consider opening your heart to Edith, Archie, or both. They’re waiting to be your new best friend! All potential adopters must fill out the adoption application. Please read our adoption policies page in its entirety before filling out application-failure to do so may delay the adoption process. Please answer all questions on the application, failure to do so may result in your application being denied. We do not adopt on a first come first serve basis but what is the best fit for our dogs. We will not place adult rescue dogs in homes with young children under 6 years old, with the exception of puppies 6 months and under, we will adopt to families with children under 6 years old, but a fenced yard is mandatory. Our dogs must live indoors with their humans and never left outdoors alone or in a kennel or yard unattended. You must be willing to use a crate and sign up for formal obedience classes.
