Lela is a medium sized dog with short fur that doesn't shed much. She is cheerful, playful, and very intelligent. She sleeps in her crate. She loves being around people. She really enjoys being outside chasing squirrels. She barks when she hears strange sounds. She is always alert; Lela doesn't like the carpet vacuum noise. Lela plays all day with her sister Korra. Sometimes they play rough, but she is very sweet and likes to lie on your lap to rest and watch TV. She is learning to go for walks in the neighborhood, and we are still working on potty training. Lela loves attention and affection, but sometimes she forgets to wait for you to pet her and will jump on you to let you know you are welcome. I love her puppy dog face when she wants something from me. P.S. Lela loves big, juicy bones, which keep her away from your furniture and belongings, those that you may have left behind, and Lela finds and will play with. Lela is good at sniffing and exploring. Lela is looking for a family to belong to, to love and care for, a little space in your heart that will belong to her forever, to take care of her and to shower her with love and attention. Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue.
