Male Dog, Husky

Husky / Mixed (Medium Coat)

Description:

This is Banjo! He’s a Husky born 8/27/22. Banjo is a sweet & intelligent dog, who does great with other dogs, loves toys & shows no issues towards adults or children. He craves attention & interaction. He has been around dogs of all sizes & cats, even though he did bark at cats. He is learning to walk on a leash & since he doesn't have a lot of confidence, should be tethered carefully outside of a fenced yard, as he doesn't always come when called. He only barks when other dogs bark, and has been submissive to senior dogs. He is not highly food or treat motivated, so training to come inside or go into the kennel is a work in progress. Once in his kennel, he does very well & sleeps quietly all night. He does well in the car too! An active family would be the best for this young man, who still has much to learn & is eager to please! Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $525.00
