Meet Augie (or Booker — he responds more towards, especially if treats are involved!) This 6-year-old Lab mix is a gentle bundle of love who’s fully potty trained and always ready for a game of fetch. He’s got a sweet soul and a big heart, just looking for a family to call his own. Augie takes a simple daily medication to keep him feeling his best, and he’s working on shedding a few extra pounds — more walkies and fewer snacks (though he’d prefer the opposite)! He adores cuddles and companionship but would prefer a calm home with kiddos over age 8 (the little ones make him a bit nervous). He needs to be an only dog. Cats unknown. He does know: sit, shake, lay down & is great in a kennel. He is house trained & potty trained. If you're looking for a loyal, playful, and loving best friend, Augie might just be your perfect match! Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Distemper combo vaccines appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, heartworm and flea/tick preventative while in rescue.
