Female Dog, Pit Bull Terrier
Pit Bull Terrier (Short Coat)
Description:
Liza came to the shelter from the city pound on Nov. 23rd when her legal hold was finished and no one had claimed her. She does appear to be a pit bull type gal, maybe 3-5 years old. She's a happy, strong, and active girl. She will be vet checked and spayed on Dec. 3rd and her fee is $150. Liza is brand new to us so we're, of course, getting to know her. She bubbles with enthusiasm and will most likely need some basic training. She seems really eager to please. We're not yet sure how she'd do with other dogs, but we think she does have the potential to be okay with a male dog. Cats? We have no way of knowing. She would probably be okay with kids with supervision. NOTE: Adoptions are done via private appointment once an application has been completed and approved. Applications must be submitted at our website, mchs.rescuegroups.org. We are located at 101 22nd St. SE in Austin, right next to the airport. It's exit 180B off of I-90, right off of 218 South. We do require that potential adopters be at least 21 years old and that any resident dogs be up to date on applications, heartworm testing/preventatives, and spayed or neutered.
