Bartholomew is an approximately 1-2 year old pit bull mix who was found as a stray and never claimed. He's a handsome and very friendly young boy. He's pretty new to us so we're still getting to know him, but we like him a lot. He will be vet checked and neutered on March 10th and his fee is $150. Bartholomew is an active young dog who will require some basic training and good exercise. We do think he'd do okay with another dog but have no way of knowing about cats. We think he'd do fine with kids, too. He has distinctive double dewclaws on his back legs and he's a relatively compact, medium-sized dog. NOTE: Adoptions are done via private appointment once an application has been completed and approved. Applications must be submitted at our website, mchs.rescuegroups.org. We are located at 101 22nd St. SE in Austin, right next to the airport. It's exit 180B off of I-90, right off of 218 South. We do require that potential adopters be at least 21 years old and that any resident dogs be up to date on vaccinations, heartworm testing/preventatives, and spayed or neutered.
