Meet Petey Petey is estimated to be around 4 years old, and while we don’t know everything about his past, we know enough to know that this sweet boy deserved so much better.Petey was found neglected and extremely underweight. Somewhere along the way, the people who were supposed to care for him failed him. But somehow, Petey never let that take away his sweetness.His tail tells you everything you need to know about him. ❤️ It’s a happy, happy tail that seems to have a mind of its own, wagging away whenever someone gives him a little attention. After everything he’s been through, Petey is still excited to see people. Still willing to trust. Still hoping someone will be kind to him.Petey seems to do well with other dogs, although we aren’t sure how he feels about cats yet. More than anything, he’s just a genuinely sweet boy who is ready for the next chapter of his life.For possibly the first time ever, Petey deserves to know what it feels like to belong to someone. To have a full belly and a soft place to sleep. To know that the person walking through the door is always coming back.
