Female Dog, Black Labrador Retriever

Black Labrador Retriever / Mixed (Short Coat)

Description:

Meet Marla, our newest resident at the Mikey & Me Kennels for Happy Days Rescue. Marla is a black lab mix, she’s about 2 years of age, and she weighs 63 pounds. She has white (speckled) paws, a beautiful soft coat, and a very nice demeanor. Marla likes other dogs, she’s easily met and engaged with many of our volunteers, and she walks nicely on leash. She appears to be fully potty trained and hasn’t had any accidents in her kennel. Marla does like to chase squirrels as recently reported by one of our team members. Marla has been fully vaccinated, she was spayed last week, and she has an appt. on March 17th to get her booster shots. She will be microchipped for her safety at this appointment. Marla has one approved adopter interested after the first dog they applied for turned out to not be a good match. If she’s still available and you’d like to meet Marla, please submit an adoption application under her name at happydaysdogandcatrescue.org/ Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The microchip is transferred to the adopter once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a one-time $15 microchip enrollment fee. Microchips are enrolled with AKC Reunite. Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
