Meet Irving, one of our newest residents at the Mikey & Me kennels in Chelsea, Mi for Happy Days Rescue. Irving is a very handsome boy, likely a Hound/Beagle mix (?), he’s approx. 2 years old, he weighs about 45 pounds, and he’s a happy and wonderful dog. Irving enjoys meeting new people, taking walks (he walks well on a leash), chasing a ball, and hanging out with his gal pal, Ingrid. Irving came to us (along with Ingrid) when their family said they weren’t able to provide for their safety while living in a busy area. They are both well mannered and seem to enjoy meeting other nice dogs. Irving was given his essential vaccines on 12/27 and he is scheduled for his first Vet appt. in Dexter where he will be tested for Heart Worm disease and implanted with a Microchip for his safety. Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $45.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information. Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
