It's been learned that Storm has been hiding a very painful secret from us.... and she needs FHO surgery. She will be going in for a surgical exam on 04.24.24 for us to learn more details on how we can help her live a happy and pain free life.In the meantime, Storm still refuses to let it slow her down. She's picking up basic training as quickly as you'd expect from a maligator! Learning to sit, place, leave it, and wait and take treats Nicely from her fosters, ha. She's also shows some absolutely remarkable traits where the foster had swallowed some food down the wrong pipe causing some coughing, Storm immediately went to the foster and calmly put her paw on her chest and just waited, comforting the foster through the coughing fit. With Storm's natural confidence and doing well with meeting other dogs and humans casually, she May be suitable to be someone's service dog!?!?Along with that, Storm is fearless! She is showing to be naturally environmentally sound having no issues going into new and crowded places and checking out all the new things, including all the boxes and nooks and crannies she can find.And to top it all off, Storm is an Absolute. Love! She wants nothing more than to be the apple of your eye because that's what her hooman is to her! Though with that she's learning to share the hooman attention with others, as when another dog is getting pets she currently can't help herself but to try to wiggle between them to remain in the spotlight.
