Until a few months ago, Molly had spent her entire existence bound to a cable in a yard and confined to a crate. A teenager in the home subjected her to physical abuse by beating her with a pole. Thankfully, when Molly's owners relocated, a compassionate neighbor intervened to rescue her. Miss Molly recently had a medical crisis where she was unable to keep down food, had dark colored vomit and diarrhea. She was taken to the vet and treated. However, Miss Molly continued to decline, she lost a significant amount of weight and was very weak. She underwent exploratory surgery and it was discovered that she had several large stomach ulcers that were causing her medical issues. The ulcers have been repaired and Miss Molly is recovering nicely. She has now gained eighteen pounds, keeps her food down, and she is feeling so much better. Miss Molly needs a special home where she can continue to recover. She will need a home that is: Quiet1-2 adultsNo KidsNo other pets Her new family will need to be patient and will need to allow Molly time to settle and gain trust. We are an official 501C3 organziation that does not have a physical location. Our home address is in Michigan, however, the majority of our dogs are not located in Michigan. We do provide transport assistance up to 750 miles, however, the applicant must drive 50% of the total distance of the transport. Any additional miles must be covered by the applicant.
