Male Dog, Belgian Shepherd Malinois

Belgian Shepherd Malinois / Mixed

Description:

MEET FRANKLIN – ALL DIAMOND. NO ROUGH EDGES. North Florida Belgian Malinois / GSD Mix | Neutered Male | ~4.5 years oldFranklin is not a diamond in the rough — he is all diamond. What you see is what you get: love, loyalty, and a dog who adores people.Franklin spent nearly a year in a North Florida shelter before an incredible elderly couple gave him the chance he deserved. He has thrived in their home and is deeply loved, but due to medical limitations, they can no longer meet his needs. Now we are searching for a foster or adopter who can give this special boy the life he’s ready for. WHY FRANKLIN IS SO SPECIAL: LOVES people — all people Great with children (best with older, dog-savvy kids due to jumping) Exceptionally affectionate — leans in, seeks touch, lives for pets Healthy, neutered, and fully vaccinated Food-motivated and eager to learn TRAINING & TEMPERAMENT: Basic obedience (sit, down, short stay) Friendly, social, and confident Not toy-obsessed — his favorite thing is being with his people Needs continued work on leash manners and polite greetings DOG FRIENDLY:Franklin is reported to do well in doggie daycare and has shown friendly, appropriate interest in dogs of various sizes and genders. Careful introductions recommended. He would likely enjoy a canine sibling. IMPORTANT NOTES (HONESTY MATTERS): Crate anxiety — does best with someone home much of the day Needs structure, consistency, and companionship Not recommended for homes with livestock Cats unknown IDEAL HOME:A foster or adopter who can offer: Daily exercise & mental enrichment Positive, consistent training Plenty of affection and companionship A true family spot — not just a place to stay WHY FRANKLIN?Because he doesn’t need fixing.Because he doesn’t need polishing.Because he is already the whole gem — loyal, loving, and ready to belong.***********************************************************************If you are interested in adopting this pet, please complete an application at this link: https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/24689/generic.
