Cagney is a super sweet, smart, active young Malinois who is ready for action! Looking for a companion for an active lifestyle? Nose work? Agility training? Cagney the girl you are looking for! This girl has fantastic training potential!Beautiful Cagney is super friendly towards both men and women and loves being with other (large) dogs. She is still a youngster, so can be over zealous at times. She will need to be supervised around small children, just as most young Malinois need to be, as she can get over stimulated and become jumpy. She will mature out of this behavior with the correct guidance. Pulled from a high kill shelter in TX, Cagney has learned a great deal since she has been with her foster mom, who is also a K9 trainer. She is crate trained, house broken, has good recall and knows basic commands. Now they are working on more advanced training. A high-energy girl, she needs an adopter who can bring out her full potential. She does not yet have a high ball or toy drive, but she is treat motivated. This girl love to run, play, and enjoys being with her humans and other dogs. She does have a high prey-drive, so cats and small dogs are a no-go. This beautiful, affectionate girl is looking for her forever human, a best friend or family who can provide her with a loving home, and help her blossom into the mature, magnificent companion she is meant to be. Cagney is highly responsive and engaged in training when she is bonded with her human. She will bond tightly with the person who works with her and delights in her potential and loving nature.
