STAR is a foster-based rescue. All our rescue animals stay in foster homes until adoption. We do not have a central facility. If you want to meet any of our adoptables please submit an application. Hi! We are 2 litters of puppies, Born July 7 & 17th, 2026! We are looking for our forever homes, and we also are looking for foster homes! Check out our facebook page Saving Tails Animal Rescue & Outreach for more photos. Apply for any of the puppies or pre-approval in the meantime while we work to get photos and listings up to date. These babies will be available to go to their forever homes after September 14th. We have a puppy yoga event if you are interested in meeting them, and puppies will be in Frankenmuth on Saturday 9/5/26 The puppies adoption fees are $350, with a refundable $50 spay/neuter deposit. Each puppy will come with a leash, collar, treats, toy, some food and microchip and their vetting up to date age appropriately. AGE DISCLAIMER: Unfortunately, most of the orphaned animals that come into our rescue looking for homes don’t bring birth certificates. Sometimes we know our pets’ ages. Sometimes we don’t. So we make our best guess based on the condition of their teeth and the veterinarians best guess. BREED DISCLAIMER: Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label . Microchips: For the safety of our dogs and peace of mind of our fosters and adopters, STAR microchips all dogs prior to adoption with Petlink Microchips. Please understand that all dogs MUST still wear a collar with ID tags (which include your current information) AT ALL TIMES. Please remember, our foster dogs are extremely important to us-- we will always take any of our dogs back, if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog. Never surrender him/her to a shelter!
