Male Dog, Siberian Husky

Siberian Husky (Long Coat)

Description:

www.huskyrescueteam.org If you have additional questions please email [email protected] We put out a plea to save the young fella. He was found running down the interstate in south Georgia and brought to the shelter. His stray hold was up and no one came to claim him. He was horribly shutdown in the shelter His fate was undetermined But we were able to intervene due to a foster home agreeing to take Victor in. As suspected, he's a different dog outside the shelter environment and is now ready for his furever home. We've determined Victor would do best as the only dog in the home or potentially with a submissive female. He and the resident male Husky in his foster home do not see eye to eye. But he loves people and being the center of attention. Victor is active and loves his daily walks. In fact, he prances more than he walks. It's adorable! Victor is crate trained and completely housebroken. He thrives in a home with routine and structure. And crazy enough - he loves to chase a ball! Victor's ideal home is one where someone is home most of the day. Someone who would be able to walk regularly with. A quiet home. He enjoys soft music and the hum of the washer and dryer. He loves to be on a couch and enjoys sleeping in a bed. He likes his crate where he can see everyone. He loves to go on car rides. He would love lots of toys. Victor is two years old, neutered, microchipped, heartworm and fecal negative and current on his vaccines. He is being fostered in SC but we are able to transport him. ~~Husky Education And Rescue Team is a foster based rescue. Our dogs are in our foster homes all up and down the east coast. We do not have a facility in which you can visit. We find this a huge benefit because we learn our dogs and are able to educate our adopters on what it’s like to have them live in your home. Part of our process, once pre-approved, is to speak with the foster for the dog you’re interested in. If you’re still interested in adopting from our rescue the first step is to complete our adoption application online at www.huskyrescueteam.org/apply If you have additional questions please email [email protected]
