She didn’t have a medical crisis or a behavior flag. She was just… there. Waiting. And that’s the heartbreak—because so many Huskies like Thelma disappear into the crowd. But Thelma did need us. Once she arrived safely in rescue, we discovered she was pregnant. This quiet, overlooked girl was carrying seven little lives. She delivered the Scooby Doo litter—seven healthy puppies who have all been adopted into wonderful homes. Now it’s Thelma’s turn. We do not have a facility in which you can visit. We find this a huge benefit because we learn our dogs and are able to educate our adopters on what it’s like to have them live in your home. Part of our process, once pre-approved, is to speak with the foster for the dog you’re interested in.
