Female Dog, Siberian Husky

Siberian Husky (Long Coat)

Description:

www.huskyrescueteam.org If you have additional questions please email [email protected] know Husky people. So when our Georgia Coordinator happened upon a stray Husky it was of no surprise. We kept tabs on the little lady while she completed her stray hold. No family came for her and she wasn't microchipped. We weren't about to leave her fate to chance, so we went back for her! Jaycie joined a foster home in Georgia and has now been spayed, microchipped, heartworm tested (negative), vaccinated and dewormed. Additionally, Jayce had xrays taken of her tail. Since we rescued her, her tail has never been normal. It's almost "S" shaped and we suspect it's been broken. Sure enough, h er tail has an old break from some type of trauma. The Vet confirms it's not a birth deformity. The break is fully healed and there is still full blood supply, full mobility and no pain. No need to amputate! Her "S" shaped tail will just add to her charm. Jaycie would thrive in an active, adventurous home! She is a social butterfly that loves to be the life of the party! She loves to play, play, play with the other pups and would like a family with other playful dogs or one who will keep her well socialized through dog parks, daycare or playdates. She's a vocal gal with a firetruck voice! She's considered high energy, like most Husky pups. Jaycie is crate trained and mostly housebroken. Her adoption area is CT, NY, NJ, DE, PA, MD, VA, NC, SC and GA. www.huskyrescueteam.org ~~Husky Education And Rescue Team is a foster based rescue. Our dogs are in our foster homes all up and down the east coast. We do not have a facility in which you can visit. We find this a huge benefit because we learn our dogs and are able to educate our adopters on what it’s like to have them live in your home. Part of our process, once pre-approved, is to speak with the foster for the dog you’re interested in. If you’re still interested in adopting from our rescue the first step is to complete our adoption application online at www.huskyrescueteam.org/apply If you have additional questions please email [email protected]
