Name: Numi Sex: Male Estimated Age: About 5-7 years old Best Guess for Breed: Mixed Breed Small Dog Weight: About 25 lbs Good With: Dogs and people. We haven’t seen Numi interact yet with kids, but happy to test him out. He should go to a home without cats. Story: Numi was rescued from a shelter in Texas in really rough shape having endured serious chemical burns. Despite his rough start, Numi is a happy sweetie who loves people and gets along great with other dogs and puppies. He knows just how to get comfortable up on the couch with his humans, and will love to join you on walks and trots around the neighborhood. Numi is just looking for someone to be his new best furend and we know that he will repay them with endless amounts of love and tail wags. Even though he’s no longer a puppy, Numi will need an adopter who is committed to setting him up for success by enrolling in obedience training and exercising him both mentally and physically. He will also need love, patience, and socialization in order to thrive! What my foster says: Despite his rough start to life, Numi has been settling in great. He does great with our dogs, even got Patches out running and wrestling. Sleeps well in the crate overnight. Getting better at fetch, and loves any type of squeaky toy. He’s still figuring out how to walk on a leash, but making progress. Numi is generally a very good natured dog, who loves to curl up next to you for belly rubs.
