Female Dog, Terrier

Terrier / Mixed (Short Coat)

Description:

Name: Masha Sex: Female Estimated Age: About 4 months old (as of 4/20/24) Best Guess for Breed: Terrier Mix Weight: About 20 lbs (as of 5/1/24) Good With: Dogs, people, cats and kids - puppies are in the prime of socialization! Story: Masha was rescued from a local shelter in Washington, DC. Masha is a super sweetie that loves all people and gets along great with other dogs and puppies. She knows just how to get comfortable up on the couch with her humans, and will love to join you on walks and trots around the neighborhood. Masha is just looking for someone to be her new best furend and we know that she will repay them with endless amounts of love and tail wags. As a puppy, Masha will need an adopter who is committed to setting her up for success by enrolling in obedience training and exercising her both mentally and physically. She will also need love, patience, and socialization in order to thrive! What my foster says: Masha is doing great! She is a love bug!! She loves her foster brother and always wants to play with him! She is good with other dogs and with anyone. She’s making great progress on her potty training - we let her out every 2 hours so she will go outside. She is crate trained, sleep through the night in her crate with no problem, during the day if you let her in the crate and leave, she might whine a little but after a couple minutes she will settle and fall asleep. Like all puppies, she does chew everything, but can be redirected with a bone or chew toy. She does have her puppy energy, zoomies in the morning, but once she gets her 3-4 walks a day, she will play by herself with her toys and then take her naps throughout the day. She is good on the leash. She’s a really special puppy and will make someone so happy! If you think that Masha might be your perfect match, apply today!
