Name: Gigi Sex: Female Estimated Age: About 5-6 years old Best Guess for Breed: Shepherd Mix Weight: About 60 lbs Lives With: Dogs and people! Housebroken? Yes! Story: Gigi (aka Aspen) first came to Petey and Furends in 2022 after being rescued from North Carolina. Sadly, Gigi’s current mom is moving to a country that won’t allow Gigi to go with her, so she is looking for a new home. Gigi is a medium-energy, low maintenance, affectionate, and happy girl who spends most of the day curled up on the couch while her mom is at work. She loves a leisurely stroll and enjoys sniffing everything. She usually get tired after around 45 minutes, so she’s not much of a hiker and prefers shorter walks throughout the day. Gigi gets along well with all people; she loves other dogs and is well behaved thanks to her training at Pack Place K9. Gigi has been living in a single-dog household, but would love to have another canine companion, or at least go to daycare or the dog park. She adores ear rubs and bootie scritches. Gigi is not destructive and never barks, but she does occasionally talk in her sleep - it’s pretty cute. That covers the cost of all her vaccines, her spay, the collar she’s wearing, and her care in her foster home. She’s up to date on all age appropriate vaccines.
