Female Dog, Shepherd

Shepherd

Description:

Lovely Morticia This 4 month old silky soft puppy girl is about 35 pounds...will be a medium size dog. A shepherd mix, she is a pup who is adventurous and a bit of a Dora the explorer. Ticia will go off into the back yard to conquer the world but will come running back when you call or whistle. This pup loves her people. We think a fenced yard and a good canine buddy would be awesome for this girl but with the right amount of activity...she will be great as an only dog. She loves her toys and sleeps thru the night. She seems to be housetrained but her foster mom lets her out a lot during the day. Morticia is such a wonderful pup, happy and healthy...says her foster mom. For puppies: The adoption fee for this dog is $375, which helps with the cost of routine vet care. This fee DOES NOT INCLUDE spay/neuter if the pup is not already spayed/neutered. If the animal you are adopting is not already spayed/neutered, you will be required to sign a contract legally obligating you to have the animal altered. ***Note that puppy adoption fees most often help generate revenue that goes towards older, special needs animals that need our help. Surgeries, heartworm treatment, boarding costs....all things that often result in adoptable dogs and cats being left behind to be euthanized. So adopting a puppy saves not just one life, but many! Puppies require an adopter who is home a good part of the day to continue their training - no exceptions! They are up-to-date on age appropriate vaccines and preventatives and will need to be spayed/neutered at the age of 6 months. Please note, this pup's immune system will not be fully functioning until about 16 weeks of age and therefore, s/he is not suited for Apartment/Condo living or Town homes without a private fenced yard and will not be able to go to public places where s/he could possibly be exposed to the germs of unvaccinated dogs, such as PetSmart/PetCo and dog parks until s/he is 16 weeks old Petconnect Rescue cannot guarantee the exact breed of any animal in our care. The breed listed is based on any background we may have been provided, and the general appearance of the animal at the time they enter our system.
